Beullton,CA Marriott - very nice!!
We enjoyed our 5-night stay here very much. Typical Marriott property and a wonderful staff. Highly recommended!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We toured the Santa Ynez Valley wine region using this hotel as our base camp. Many local wineries/vineyards are nearby. Plenty of good dining options as well.

Had an excellent time. Great place to wind down and get away from LA!
Nicest hotel in the area. Close to wine tasting and the whole Santa Ynez area. We had a restful stay but make sure you do not get a room facing the 101. There could be a large amount of road noise. Hotel service was excellent and friendly and the room was very nice and clean.
Traveler's tip on dining
Matties Tavern in Los Olivos -- Been serving since 1886. Probably best restaurant in the area. Excellent bar! AJ Spurs in Buelton Hitching Post in Buelton which was where Sideways was filmed Andersons Split Pea -- family hardy food.

Too Noisy
The hotel was clean and great service. The only problem was the location. It was right next to the freeway. When I was at the pool, the noise drove me crazy. I also had a room facing the pool! With a great view balcony, I could NOT leave the sliding door open because of the noise. Forget resting and relaxing at the pool or balcony. Bu the way...the hotel provided shuttle service to Chumash so that was great. You didn’t even have to drive:)
Traveler's tip
Mostly seniors staying at the hotel and too noisy. Make sure you get rooms away from the freeway. Don’t get a room to party at the hotel. The senior citizens will complain:)
