Good quality for the money
Not close to the center, but a tram-line in front of the hotel and the Highway entrance around the corner. Located in areau with mostly office buildings.

Taxi to the center approx. euro 10, very good Italian restaurant nearby, recommended by the hotel staf.

The best of the 80s
A once grand hotel back when Bonn was the capital of West Germany..the Maritim has not seen a update since reunification. Rooms are decorated in a horrible 80s style and furnishings are definitely showing a lot of wear and tear. The service is abysmal. Front desk staff are barely competent to perform minoor functions such as sending faxes, arranging for courrier pick-up and drop off of documents, etc. Breakfast room is dreary and laid out like a maze. Location is convenient to UN offices but very isolated and not good for walking. The hotel is resting in its laurels as the "government" hotle back in the day and now is just a 4-star shell with 2-star service and amenities.
