great town
I would not recommend this hotel ever. They forgot to clean the room one day. Did not want to give any extra pillows. The beds were the most uncomfortabe beds we ever slept on.

A very good and ideal place to stay in St. Augustine
This hotel was head and shoulders above their competition. The few extra dollars that we spent on this place (compared to the other inns)generated a lot of bang for those bucks. The location is ideal. You can easily get to the attractions that are twenty miles north or south of this motel. All of the services and amenities were as good or better than advertised. Having breakfast in this motel is way better than going to any full service restaurant. The service, quality and the assortment of the food was exceptional. This motel is on my list for a repeat visit.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Twenty miles south of this hotel is a beautiful beach that has natural rock and reef formations. To get there: go south on A1A, cross Mantazas Inlet, go about one mile south of Marineland. The destination is Wasthington Oakes State Park. There is parking on the left and a boardwalk that gives you and observation point and access to the beach. Plan you trip for low tide so that you can see the reefs up close. Also, do not forget to take your camera.

Great Location
This was a very nice Hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Right across the street from the beach and easy access. Would say again!
