Never stay their!!!
This hotel was said to be within 5 miles of town square in Manhattan but it was in Queens! Also, there was no AC in the rooms. They did bring me a small fan, also, the neighborhood was grafitti laiden area...was not safe! Also, no water or coffee even in vending machines! The room was filthy and old!
The Fall is beautiful there! Weather is awesome!

You get what you pay for, or maybe not
The best thing about the hotel is the price, that is compared to hotels in NYC. We stayed one night with two kids. The room was roomy and clean, and is located in a fairly nice area of Queens, but the neighborhood felt only moderately safe for my wife and kids. The beds were very hard and the pillows old and flat. The noise level in the room is also kind of loud. Doors shutting down the hall could be heard in the room loudly. The subway is a short distance away, but you have to cross a multilane road to get to to the hotel. There is private parking, but the back security gate was left open the whole time we were there. Overall, the hotel is old and not in the best location, but is cheap for NYC.
