Pleasently Suprised
My buddy and I went to Budapest on vacation. The hotel room was a twin bed shared room. The beds were very comfortable. I recommend buying the included breakfast, it was delicious. The hotel was cheap and very luxurious. It may be a longer walk to go sight seeing but I had a great time.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Just be careful when you get in a cab in Budapest. Cab drivers in this city will overcharge you.

Lovely hotel and location
The Danubius Hotel Flamenco is in a nice and quiet location opposite a local park. The hotel is huge and designed for conference groups which gives it a slightly impersonal feeling. Staff were friendly and helpful. A little far from the city but very good rates when I stayed. I will stay there again when I’m in Budapest.
Traveler's tip
Be careful of a couple of con men working around the National Museum in Budapest and possibly other tourist spots. One poses as a lost tourist while another pretends to be a policeman carrying out a search for drug money. Wallet are returned after inspection but with by slight of hand with less money than you started with.

I liked it
Quiet location, very close to tramway stops, which took us everywhere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. Didn’t quite like that they only have liquid soap in the bathroom (no bar soap). Breakfast was awsome - good quality, self-serve, enough to get anybody full! We’ll probably stay there again next time.
