kinda dumpy
The place is old but not old enough to be quaint. You can tell they’ve tried to fix it up but the whole place needs to be rebuilt. Not within walking distance of anything except Swimming with Dolphins and it costs $165 per person. (Not kidding). The parking lot isn’t paved and there are so many craters it’s like the moon. It rained the second day and filled all the craters with water which made navigating it even more fun.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If we ever go to Key Largo again, we’ll spend the extra $15 to $20 a night and stay at a more modern, name brand hotel.

bad hotel! don’t stay there
the hotel staff was not friendly at all and the hotel was in a bad condition. everything is really old. moreover, key largo is not the place to stay. you should rather go to more exciting places like key west. key largo is really boring. and this hotel is crap!

Has Value
The comfort was good for the price. There are some drawbacks with the access from the parking lot to the office. The property is well maintained but is a little on the rough side. I would stay here again.
