Close to Nyhaven restaurants and canal
Very nice Scan Design hotel close to Nyhaven restaurants and canal street. Delicious breakfast buffet. Front desks were very friendly and helped us stowe our luggage as we were quite early.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Cant save any bucks in copenhagen, very expensive city. Bring your credit card.

Exceeded my expectations
Very good hotel in a great location, very close to the Nyhavn -new harbor- area which is full of restaurants and outdoor cafes. You can easily walk to the Amalienborg Palace and many sights. They included breakfast with the room price which is a very good value since Copenhagen is a very expensive city. The room was very spacious with a nice king bed. The bathroom was small, but very modern. I will definitely stay there again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
You can easily get the canal boat tour, which I highly recommend. It is only a couple of blocks away.

Front: An Incredible Experience
Imagine: you are in Copenhagen to lay your mother to rest. Its Christmas. You pick a hotel at random: Front. The sun never breaks and 2007 Christmas was a brutally sad time but for Front. Front provided me with the sense I was with friends at their home. Each and every single person behind the Front desk bent over backwards to do whatever they could do to help me, set my mind at ease over details with the funeral that they could help with, and accomodate me in any way possible. The room was immaculate, cleaned once and sometimes twice a day. The gym was perfect and looked out at the Opera House. So after that terrible Christmas, I returned - to Front in 2008 at Christmas. I hope it is the last Christmas in my 47 year lifetime I have to spend alone but if it was possible, they were even MORE accomodating, friendly, and on Christmas night, they brought up a beautiful Royal Copenhagen porcelain Gift for me, the Lonely Traveler. I got to know so many of the Front desk people a little as I stayed and even, with their assistance, rented a bicycle (the free ones were not available) and they booked restaurants for me to be at so that I didnt have to be alone at Christmas. This hotel is very fine but the people - the people are what make this, in all my years of travel in any country, the FINEST HOTEL STAFF I HAVE EVER HAD THE GOOD FORTUNE TO EXPERIENCE - and thank God, at the most difficult time Ive ever had to travel.
