Wonderful service
The Peabody Court was comfortable and convenient for my downtown-based trip. Room service and food were excellent. Overall excellent value, and a great restored old building.

Close to 4 stars
I recently stayed at Peabody Court because it was the closest decent hotel to my daughters apartment and because I got a good package deal on Expedia (otherwise, it would have been a bit pricey for what you get). Staff was friendly for the most part, although they dont give you a lot of information on check-in (like the $1 daily fee for use of the safe or that the bottled water in the room is $4). If you read all the info in the room, youll find out these things eventually. I also got mixed answers about walking alone late at night in the neighborhood. The room card failed on day 4, and I had to go back down to the lobby to have it reprogrammed. The room was quiet as Id requested and very clean, although the bedspreads and curtains could use updating. I never got the hang of the shower-it was either too cold or scalding hot. I also never got a wake-up call, and finally figured out there must be something wrong with my phone (I used my cell while there). So, make sure your phone works on check-in! The only time I ate at Georges was for breakfast, and it was good and plentiful. If I can get another package deal, I will stay there again.
Make sure you have plenty of money to pay for the high parking garage rates in the city. I took my granddaughter to the aquarium, and we parked for just over 3 hours. It cost $21, which I feel is outrageous!

Unique, helpful, luxurious and nicely located!
We came to Baltimore late in the evening on a Thursday and had a tremendous stay. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The Peabody Court is located in a great neighborhood and very close to the light rail as well as many great restaurants and cultural sites. The unique nature of the hotel made for a really different experience. Plenty of space, quite and calm surroundings and a great place to eat or drink just downstairs. We left Baltimore after the marathon feeling great and being glad we stayed at the Peabody.
