Enjoyable .

Disney never disappoints

Being a big Disney fan, it is always nice to be able to stay on property. As usual, the hotal and service was great. My complaints are minor: 1. The had the AC cranked up way too high and so it was freezing in the hallways. Also, our room was at the end and down a long hall way so it was a walk just to get to the lobby or over to the pool. 2. Bathroom a bit small. Sinks were out in the open so that was fine but the toilet/tub combo was cramped and so it was difficult to change or dry off when getting in/out of the shower. Made due because I was traveling with a friend but had I had my kids with, it would have been much more of a dissatisfier.

Great if you plan to spend time appreciating it

This is a great place to stay for people who appreciate very specific period details and theme. It is a nice hotel, but, beyond that, the 1920s east coast boardwalk theme is carried out very well. From the music to the authentic props and antiques that decorate the hotel’s nooks and crannies, the person who would really enjoy a stay is the person who would notice and appreciate those small things. Very comfortable and classy.

The Boardwalk Inn is within walking distance of Epcot and is a sort boat ride from the Disney Studios. It’s also an easy monorail transfer to the Magic Kingdom, making it one of the most convenient of all the Disney hotels. No slow Disney buses!

Beautiful Hotel

Terrific Disney hotel. The most comfortable beds we’ve had anywhere. Very helpful staff. The only disappointment was the main pool. The hotel has a great concept--to have two "quiet" pools, in addition to the main pool, but the main pool is really disappointing with theming when compared to other Disney properties.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The concierge desk can "link" your Park Passes with your room key so you only need to worry about one card for both. But before leaving the concierge desk, be sure each of your families cards has an arrow on it. Ours didn’t, and when we got to our room, it wouldn’t open the door.

LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!

Our hotel was beautiful and the staff was excellent. Very accommodating and the concierges were all wonderful, fun, and helpful. Highly recommend getting a room facing the gardens. Beautiful view and quiet. It was just myself and my boyfriend, no kids, and we found this to be the perfect place, and affordable. we bought a bottle of wine to enjoy on our little balcony and called housekeeping at 10:00 at night to bring up a corkscrew and wine glasses...they ran up, excited for us to be doing this and even offered to bring us a bucket of ice...very nice. Cant say enough nice things about the building, rooms, service and location. Perfect Perfect Perfect. Highly recommend to couples and families. Never waited more than 10 minutes for transportation, and they worked hard to get us last minute reservations at popular restaurants. Would stay there again without a second thought. You will love the convenience, service, and atmosphere. c

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Look into all the little "extras" beforehand. Disney’s Magical Express was fantastic, fast, expertly handled. No worries whatsoever. Get your key to act as your credit card and no worries. Buy whatever you want and get it delivered free of charge to your hotel, but plan for at least a day to get it delivered. Boardwalk is empty during the day and peaceful...active at night. You will love your stay here, guarantee it!

can’t wait to go back

it’s a really nice hotel and very convienent to stay there.I and my family enjoyed staying in this hotel.I would sugest to other people to choise that nice place.It was a pleasure being there.

There are a lot of things to do for entire family.There is a nice pool with slide kids love it.You can rent bikes,water sckooters.Epcot park is so close even you can walk there. Parents can enjoy Dancing club in the evening. And food is very good too.

Diseny Boardwalk

Overall the room was nice - pretty basic- it was my son and I and the room was small but big enough for the two of us. We were in the 2nd area of the hotel by the quiet pool- which I highly recommend as it is a nice get away from the craziness of the main pool and a nice quiet time after a long day of walking disney. A drawback was how far the room was from the front desk - if you have bags have the bellman bring them as it was just one bag for my son and i, but after the 100 yard walk it got to be a little much. 2nd the food around boardwalk is ok - breakfast is you standard fare at "Spoodles" but stay away from the area for dinner - walk over to epcot as the food over there is amazing compared to the "bar food "fried everything" i found around the hotel - I didnt try the fish place next to the hotel as it looked good and may be an exception. The hotdogs on the boardwalk are horrendous, lowest quality hot dog possible and the fried doogh is very expensive as well.

Walk over to the Epcot world restaurant area - we had out best meal there, at a chinese restaurant called nine dragons - food was great and reasonably priced, the other restaurants are just as good - Epcot’s food area is great as there is food from all over the world and something for everyone - then after dinner stay for the fireworks - my son and i had a great time.

Extremely convenient and comfortable.

The convenience to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and the selection of restaurants on the Boardwalk makes this hotel an excellent choice. We could take the boat, which came every 20min or walk or both. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable. We overlooked a secondary pool and it was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel provides an empty fridge, which can you can stock with your own items.

One of Disney’s finest

This was our first stay at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. We have been to Disney many times and have often stayed at the Caribbean Beach. This is a full service hotel with great amenities. Disney knows how to do it right.

Expected no less from Disney.

From check-in to check-out it was all smoothly done; especially the no hassle luggage check-in for the flight and getting the boarding pass at the hotel.

This is a fantastic hotel, while we were there, it was under construction obtaining a new roof. But they didn’t put guests in this section. The hotel is beyond convenient and comfortable all in the same package. The bed I wanted to take home!

Take advantage of getting to the parks faster as you don’t need always travel by bus, use the boat transportation or just walk right to MGM Studios and Epcot.

We never wanted to leave!

I thought that the Boardwalk Inn was an excellent place to stay. My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Each morning there was a man standing by the bus terminal directing you to the bus you needed to get on to go to that specific park. At night there was plenty to do with all the different things going on. Jelly Rolls was amazing to go to for a few drinks. The men playing the pianos were fantastic. I would totally recommend this to any one.

Walk to Epcot Close to all other attractions

Boardwalk is one of the best.

Everyone we talked to before leaving for vacation was enthusiastic when they heard we had reservations at the Boardwalk Inn. Now we know why. The people were oh so friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in very early. We were able to check out very late. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. They made the children feel special, of course. The factilities are well cared for and I couldn’t find a single thing in disrepair. The only negative was the restaraunt on the boardwalk that is also a brewery (I forget the name). Quality of food was marginal, noise level was excessive. Cost was higher than most other places we ate. Skip it and go elsewhere. Have fun at Disney!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Definitely use Magical Express baggage and transportation service. Definitely go to the parks during the first hour, which is limited to those staying on property. Definitely seek out your favorite rides early and get fast passes early, which reserve your express entry to that ride during a specific hour later that day. You can get a new fast pass every 2 hours regardless of when your return reservations are. Definitely charge everything to your room.

Perfect service

The Perfect Spot

The Boardwalk Inn is situated such that you can walk to both Epcot and MGM-Disney. The shops and dining on the Boardwalk were great and the area was alive at night. The hotel has the feel of a 1930’s to 1940’s style hotel out of the movies "Holiday Inn" or "White Christmas" - all wood floors, authentic style woodwork, etc. There is a great little bar area just off the main entrance that serves muffins, rolls and coffee in the morning. A gal named Mary worked there and she has been with Disney for 27 years and she was great to visit with. Next trip we will take the grandparents and they would be completely satisfied staying at the inn, walking to Epcot (which is the park they enjoy the most). This is our third "on Disney" property that we stayed at and we felt the best.

Good for Convenience

The hotel is a short walk from Epcot and MGM. You take a bus to the Magic Kingdom. We were able to see fireworks from our window. The staff is a mix. We had some bend over backwards, but others who were not that accomodating (I needed a microwave and they sent me to a lot of place that did not have one). The rooms are small and look old. There is no turndown service.

A little tired.

We stayed at the Disney Inn for 2 nights. It was a typical Disney quality with excellent customer service. I would say that the resort was a bit tired with everything looking a bit tired. I did not realize that have of the facility is a time share and I don’t know if I would have stayed there if I had know that. Despite that, the location was perfect and it was so easy to get to Epcot and MGM studios. The boardwalk was a good place to eat and it was easy to get into all of the restaurants for dinner. (This was October). I have stayed at the Newport Bay Club across the lake and I think I would probably stay there again if I had to choose between the two resorts. But there is not a lot of difference and both have wonderful large bedrooms.

Seems like all the disney hotels go above & beyond to satisfy the customer

Its worth the extra money to stay at a disney resort, because they try harder and the parks are open extra hours for customers of the resorts only.
