Love this hotel!
My room was clean and comfortable. I like that it had a kitchen so I could refridgerate my leftover seafood (and reheat it if needed). The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Will Go Back
The Portland TownePlace Suites was an excellent place for an extended stay. My stay was Sunday through Saturday. The room was clean, appointed well, quiet, away from road noise and the staff was excellent & very accomodating. You are less than 10 minutes from downtown Portland. The suite has a small kitchen with, sink, disposal, microwave, stove, oven & refrigerator freezer. Across the street is a large supermarket comparable to any in a large metropolitan area. Excellent food selections, wine, beer and liquor. Very good restaurants are within 2-4 miles, including a primo Suishi/Korean place. Ample parking, lots of green space if you have animals or just like to walk.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Hit the many Maine Potters, Pottery Studios in downtown Portland as well as the basement Christmas shop. Also for the adventurous, stop by Condom Sense on Fore Street and two doors down the Foreplay Bar & Grill.
