Friendly hotel with great taste in decor
My daughter and I checked in and the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. She was very knowledgable in areas to go and places to eat! close to a shopping center that was really great, short drive to Carmel. Stay here was very pleasant and hotel room was GREAT! will stay again. Thank you MARIPOSA SUITES and INN STAFF will definitely come back!

Not worth the money.
The room, including tax, was quite expensive, approaching downtown San Francisco rates. It was literally no better than a cheap motel you’d find at a freeway interchange. The room was cramped, dirty, and noisy. Walls were paper thin. It’s 2 miles from the beach in Monterey, so I’m not sure how the price can be justified.
