Very nice for a small town hotel!!
We were pleasantly surprised when we came through the door of this hotel. There was a very nice looking fireplace that gave it a warm feeling right off the bat. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. There were fresh baked cookies on the counter-very yummy! Our room was on the second of three floors and there is an elevator. There is also a balcony to look down to the main floor. They dont have a pool but do have a large hot tub and sauna. Also a small gym with only a few pieces of equipment. Our room was decent sized with a microwave and mini fridge which we DID use. The kids brought their Xbox 360 but the rather small tvs are older and had no way to connect them. Luckily there is a Walmart right across the parking lot so we got the connecting wires to make it work. Our beds had a duvet comforter in it, but our friends had the standard hotel comforter so we felt pampered! LOL The buffet was pretty decent-make your own waffles, a few choices of cereal with milk in the fridge, a juice machine, coffee, donuts, English muffins, bagels, toast and apples, so not bad at all. All in all, it was a very good experience-the price is decent, except the second night we stayed was New Years Eve so there was a lot of partying (us included) and the price was higher, but we attended a wedding that night and it was also across the parking lot so this hotel is in a very convenient place-gas station close by, as well as several fast food restaurants.
Traveler's tip on shopping
WalMart right across the parking lot behind the hotel-very handy for those forgotten items when traveling!!
