Maritim is the place to stay
Right on the danube and a 10 - 15 mintue short walk to the old quarters and Ulm Munster. Only gripe was they did not have a coffee or water pot in the room. Had to have room service or resturant for morning coffee. Most EU hotels have this. They did not have shampoo but did have in the shower a body wash dispenser for body and hair. I don’t like washing my hair with the same type of soap used for the body.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
You have to walk the 780 circular narrow steps to the top, 500 feet, of the Ulm Munster. It is work getting to the top but a piece of cake going down. There is no way you would be allowed to do this in the US. Awesome.
