Will absolutely stay there again!
The hotel was very nice. Rooms are very modern with flat panel t.v screens. They have an in room safe that was really helpful, you dont want to walk the French Quarter carrying a huge purse. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They arranged day trips for us through local tour guides. They handled it all. The hotel is about 2 block from Canal street which begins the French Quarter. It was just far enough away to be convenient, yet quiet. There is also an awesome little diner across the street that the locals frequent. Excellent food. Wonderful over all experience. Will definetly stay there again.
Traveler's tip
You need to take a VIP city tour--it was great. Also, do not miss the swamp tour. I thought it sounded disgusting, but my hubby wanted to go. It was the most beautiful thing you have ever seen. Many alligator sightings. Not smelly and mosquito infested as I had thought.

Recommend this hotel
Was quite pleased with the accommadations.Room was very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. My only complaint is the $250 which the hotel wanted to place on hold on my credit card in aniticipation of incidentals. I am used to having my card charged at the end of my stay not the beginning. Also, parking is $26/day so keep that in mind if driving.Hotel is within a nice walking distance to French Quarter.Again, the staff was excellent. I would definitely stay there my next visit.
