Excellent food
This hotel is an good base for exploring the area around Avignon but is located in a rather unattractive suburb of the city. The chef is excellent and I highly recommend the restaurant. The rooms are large but rather spartan. The bathrooms are huge and have new jacuzzi tubs, etc. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are kept very clean. Some rooms do not have internet access despite the claim that all do. The neighborhood is a little off-putting but once inside the grounds of the hotel you are not affected except for the children playing on the soccer field across the street.
Traveler's tip on dining
The restauarant in the hotel has an excellent pri fixe menu. Worth the trip from anywhere!
