Nice Hotel
We needed a transition hotel between our stay in the city with friends and leaving to go home and this hotel was a good choice. The staff were helpful and pleasant.
We needed a car for multiple reasons and so were parking in the city several times. We alternated between 2 parking garages across the street from each other in North Beach where we needed to be on several occasions. Our car got locked into one of the garages overnight because we didn’t spot the sign saying the garage closed at 10 P.M. The one across the street, owned by the same company, was a 24 hour garage. This was almost a disaster as it did not reopen until 10 the next morning and we were flying out the next day at noon. We made it and it was not the garage’s fault that we got locked in. Just keep an eye out for something odd like this!

Quiet Location
Our booking was in the area north of SFO airport and east of the freeway into SF. The location is far enough from either so as not to notice; very quiet neighborhood for being near a major international airport. No planes overhead or a few blocks away as with other properties in the area. Not an issue with booking again in the future. Our weekend commute into downtown was 10-15 minutes.

Great and Affordable Hotel
The hotel room was clean and with added small kitchen, it was a perfect room for a vacation. Bed was really comfortable. Cons: internet speed really slow (especially if your room is far away from access point). I used the ethernet cable and it was still very slow (i.e. dial-up speed). Temperature controller was not intuitive (it was hot periodically at night). It was quickly addressed by the hotel management. Pros: The hotel service was great and breakfast was better than I expected. They had juice in cans, which were helpful for us when we were travelling around bay area. Free parking was GOOD! 15 minutes away from downtown.
