Mattress were old and lumpy and the air conditioner vibrated so loud it drowned out the freeway noise. Good and safe location. Bob Evans was right outside the front door.

It’s OKAY

It’s a relatively cheap hotel. Room was acceptable. No ironing board...or hair dryer. It’s convenient to I-80.

Not good

The pillows were like a piece of cardboard. The light fixtures were falling off the wall, the lock on the door was broken, I felt very unsafe in the room. They did not have a blow dryer for me to use, I had to spend $20 dollars on a new one. It was just a miserable stay in all.

The price was right!

If you do not need all the ammenities, this is a clean hotel for a decent price. The best perks are the wireless Internet and the Bob Evans next door. It is right off the interstate with several fuel stations right there, so getting back on the road after breakfast is too easy!!

Don’t forget a hair dryer because one is not provided in the room.

Wonderful stay

Great place for the business stay. Comfortable desk, bed and a great bathroom. The table lamp did not work but this is just a small thing that can always happen.

Basic economy option

If you’re just looking for a modestly priced place to sleep, this is a good option. Definitely not highly polished and none of the kid-focused amenities, but quite and reasonably clean and everything worked. Location was convenience to dining options, etc. Good pick for someone attending events at Chicagoland Speedway.

Joliet delight

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the friendly reception, and helpfulness of the staff, to the quiet, clean rooms. The hidden treasure is the family restaurant in the car park next door. Everything is located close by, and I would recommend you stay at this hotel if you are requiring a place to stay in Joliet.

The hotel was just okay. Not too terribly expensive, but the $9.99 daily charge for internet access was ridiculous. It’s been my experience that only the fancy hotels charge for internet, and this is far from a fancy hotel.

Great for RESPONSIBLE pet owners

My wife, 1yr old German Shepard, and I stayed at this hotel two separate times one week apart. This hotel is great since they allow pets. It is just off I-80 so it is convenient for travelling. There is also a Bob Evans restaurant just steps from the rooms. The rooms are basic, but good for short stays. The mini-fridge and microwave in the room was a nice surprise. I had nothing bad to say about the hotel, only other guests. If you do travel with pets do not leave them unattended in the room. On our second night there was a dog in a nearby room that barked continuously from 9pm to at least 2am. We had to turn on the bathroom fan to drown out the noise.

Hotel needs updating

We found that there was a problem finding electrical outlets that worked. The sink counter area had no outlets that worked. On the wall there was a double outlet with one outlet working. The other outlet came out when you tried to plug into it. It is almost impossible to get ready with a hair dryer and curling iron with no mirror or counter to do this with.

Very pleasurable

The room was comfortable and very clean. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Staff was accommodating. There was dining available within walking distance. Hotel was easily accessible from the expressway. Would stay here again.

Party Central - and bad maintenance, too

I think I must have been in the midst of a wedding party or family reunion or something similar. When I checked in at 7 p.m., the parking lot was less than one third full. Sometime after 10 p.m., the party group arrived (more than 30 people). They were well-dressed, all ages and LOUD! It was a nice summer night, so they stood around on walked around on the balcony, having loud conversations until well after 2 a.m. Multiple calls to the front desk did some (but little good). The desk man said there was nothing he could do after I called the second time. This may have been an isolated incident, but it points out how the management handles situations like this. Other problems: the toilet was out of adjustment and would run constantly if not played with; the TV remote didn’t work.
