A good experience
We were traveling extensively through the Northeast and stayed primarily in very expensive BandBs. I have to say that one of the best nights that I experienced was at the Hilton Garden Inn in Saratoga. It was clean, comfortable and we didn’t feel obligated to talk to people we would never see again! I would return with no hesitation.

Can’t wait to go back...
We loved staying at this hotel. Every employee was very gracious, including the front desk when an erroneous charge was made to my room. It is just on the fringe of the downtown action; for us, the 15 minute walk was great, but you can also grab a cab if you are heading to the track and don’t want to drive. Grab a city map, which is very helpful, in the lobby. The room was great, although they were the smallest full size beds we’d ever slept in. Very comfy. We did not have the buffet breakfast, so can’t comment on that. My only criticism is that the sign to the hotel is not that obvious from the road. It is definitely our favorite hotel for this city.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you are into racing, take the $10 tour of the racetrack. You will go where the public is not allowed. Our guide, Jim was fantastic. Bring your camera, but ask where pics are appropriate so as not to spook the horses. You cannot bring umbrellas on the tour for the same reason.

Great place to stay.
We were extremely statisfied with the hotel and our room. It was a large king. Everything was in great condition and my husband was able to get some work in with the wireless. Have recommended the hotel to our friends. We did not have a chance to use any of the facilities but are sure they would have been great too. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very convenient to the track and SPAC as we went to Saratoga to see Jackson Browne on July 24th.
