Convenient place to stay for one night in Honolulu
We needed a place to stay overnight before going over to Kauai for a week. This hotel is a very convenient and inexpensive place to stay for a no-frills hotel near airport. On the good side, they have a free airport shuttle that picked us up at 10:30 pm. The shuttle arrived approx. 10 minutes after we made the call. On the not so good side, the hotel is basically located under a highway overpass. Our friends stayed in a ground floor room. They complained about the noise. We paid for a "premium" room (still very reasonable) on the 8th floor in a newer part of the hotel. Our room was not noisy, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

BW refused to give me the breakfasts we were entitled to without a protracted fight and threats to cancel charges on credit card. Room was the nosiest I have ever slept in, right next to a 24/7 3 lane freeway.

Handy Location to Honolulu airport
The Best Western near Honolulu Airport is a perfectly situated hotel for a short stay. The staff were charming and there is included transport from the airport which is convenient. Breakfast was suitably light and adequate. If you arrive latish and need food or a drink there is not much on offer and the locale is not conducive to an exploratory wander. There is a local shop behind a service station which has some basics.
