Good Hotel, Good Location
Great location. The Hotel is plesantly located on the start of Orchard road. Plenty of good restaurant (Black Angus, Hard Rock Cafe, etc). Or you can go accross the street for local foods like noodles and chicken rice. Clean and reasonably priced. I particularly like the 24 hrs Mc Donalds with free Wifi access. Just 2 minutes walk from hotel. Room service is good. They clean my room perfectly evertime. I stayed there for 5 nights. Generous soft pillows, large soft bed, for good sleep experience, and dont forget ask for the room with balcony. I dont take the hotel’s food, but you will not be running out of foods along the Orchard road.

Great location in Beijing
Comfortable hotel in great location. This is my "go to" hotel in Beijing due to its central location, access to restaurants. Walking distance to Tianamen Square and Forbidden City. Restaurant is open 24 hours makes coming and going very convenient and accomodating for early and late flights. I just wish they would update the bedding with softer, thicker mattress toppers.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Enjoy the evening city and join the locals in strolling down Wangfujing Avenue. Artists sometimes gather down the street in front of the Catholic Church.

Mixed feelings
I went to this hotel with my wife and children for a 4 days Beijing visit. Rooms are nice, buffet breakfast is very good (large choice). My main critic is for hotel staffs who are defenitely not a the expected standard one would expect for this type of hotel & price: Barely spoke English (especially at the restaurant), had to ask several times to be served, poor customer care.
