And if you are planning a visit, there is only one place to stay. The Covo dei Saraceni is a delightful, family-owned hotel and the only one on the beachfront. Having started life as a seafront restaurant, it has been transformed over the years into the charming hotel it is today. The restaurant is still exceptional, the view from your private balcony remains exquisitely unchanged, and the rooftop pool is an experience not to be missed. Outstanding location and great service
Rooms are very clean (standard room is a little small - especially the shower). AC works very well (unusual for Italy). Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel restaurant is one of the better restaurants in Positano and they give their guests a discount. The location is perfect - On our next trip to Positano wouldn’t stay any place else.

Tiny Room.
We booked a "deluxe" room and was surprised at how small the room was. In all, the hotel’s location and staff were excellent. But due to our late arrival, I felt like we might have been given the last room available. The room was so small, there was barely enough space to walk around the bed. Other than that, we really enjoyed our 3-night visit.
