not good at all
This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in Singapore. The location is relatively convenient on Orchard rd. but unless you get room nights for a bargain basement price you should pick somewhere else. Definitely do not stay here if you are expecting anything near 4-star hotel quality room and services.

Posted: 21-May-09We are sincerely concerned that his overall experience at the CONCORDE HOTEL SINGAPORE has been negative. We have a commitment to investigate into all complaints so that we may rectify our shortcomings. It would be fruitful if he could write to us about his experience in greater detail. Our Hotel has recently changed management and has made improvements to its property in the past half year. We have completed refurbishing Spices Cafe, Premier Club Rooms, Premier Lounge and Suites while our Lobby and Gymnasium will be completed in mid June. Refurbishment works for Deluxe Rooms will commence in June this year. The hosts of the Hotel have gone through a number of training sessions to better equip them for their various roles. We are grateful for the feedback, which can only help us to improve our services to meet our guests’ expectations. We hope he will give us another opportunity to provide him with the Concorde hospitality. We look forward to welcoming him in the near future.

Well worth the price
This was a rather nice place to stay. Great location, friendly service. Pool was very nice, but drinks a little pricey, but drinks are expensive(at bars)in Singapore. If you like beer, go to a hawker center, or any of the many restaurant stands all around town, much cheaper and always ice cold! Not to mention the great food! The only issue with the room, is that the air-conditioner malfunctioned on the final night I was there. I had brought it to the attention of the staff, and I had received a letter of apology,and that the A/C was fixed. I didn’t expect to receive a letter, but it only goes to show the staff really cares! If I return to Singapore, I would definitely stay at the Concorde again!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Using the MRT is fast and efficient. I would recommend buying the EZ link card for $15.00. It gives you a slight discount, but more importantly, you don’t have to worry about exact change, especially when riding the bus, and you can add money to it,($10 minimum) when the value drops too low.
