Nice but Noisy
The hotel was nice enough and in a good location, but I found getting to sleep at night difficult because of the traffic noise: honking horns, motorcycles, trunks, you name it. On Sunday night I thought, "Oh good, maybe tonight it will be quiet". But I was rudely awakened by the sound of honking horns. I’m guessing it was because someone won an important soccer match or something, but I’m not sure. If you plan to stay here, please ask for a room that doesn’t face the street.

Paris’ Best Hotel
I was staying at Best Western Etoile Residence Emperiale just for one night, cause I had to travel to Germany to do some business. The hotel is located in the center of Paris - about 100yd. to Metro station, 300yd to Arc de Triomphe and 10yd to the bus stop. The room was very clean and as for Paris’ standards quite big. Hotel service was perfect - always very helpful and patient. Air conditioning was cooling the room (temperature outside was about 93F). I really enjoyed the fact that there was a complimentary wireless internet connection in the room - i really needed it. I can highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Will definitely come back soon.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Dont be using taxi service, because they will be trying to earn a few bucks, epecially trying to get into biggest traffic possible. Simply buy a bundle of ten tickets for 11.60 eur - it is valid for buses and metro.
