Excellent Value!
I was extremely surprised at how nice the rooms were and have since stayed there a second time. It is a clear, well remodeled hotel and a very good value with a friendly staff.

In a Good Location
We were pleased to find a hotel in Canoga Park as our daughter lives nearby. It fit our needs.

There are two good malls nearby - Topanga Plaza and another one. I can’t remember the name.

Breakfast pathetic
The room beds, furniture and details were nice. The room was clean except for the carpet, which was sticky feeling and stained our socks. The advertised continental breakfast was almost a joke. The danish were in baggies, like from a convenience store (so NOT fresh), there were 2 kinds of cereal and only whole milk, only small red apples, no other fruits and white or wheat bread which was stale. No cream cheese, no bagels, no fresh danish, no peanut butter, no oatmeal, no yogurt. There was coffee with plain powder creamer and orange juice which was good. So basically, your choices were simple carbs stale!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
A very close and safe hotel if you need to be near Cal State Northridge. Plan on buying brunch or a very early lunch because the breakfast here will not carry you more than an hour at most.
