Gold in Fort Smith!
Our room was spacious and comfortable; I was delighted to have NO BACKACHE thanks to an excellent mattress! The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was so good, we dined there daily. We will certainly stay there the next time we visit Fort Smith!
Lake Fort Smith is a stunning recreation area for hiking, fishing, or relaxing.

The service of this hotel is Unequaled, a real class act!
The Hotel is kept in a high state of maintenance an the staff personnel are very friendly and accomadating. With it’s central location, there is easy access to all the local the local sights. The hotel also provides adequate parking facilities with plenty lighting. Truely a "top notch" accomadation that is Second to None!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Ft. Smith, AR area is very rich in history, and is the location of Judge Parker’s (The Hanging Judge,) famous Court House and Gallows. The Ft. Chaffee area which ls located approximately 10 to 15 miles from the hotel is the site where several Motion Pictures have been filmed.

Not worth the view.
My first impression was the clorox smell in the lobby from the indoor "water feature". The condition and amenities in the room would be fine for the hotel half this price. The view however, was spectacular - there was lovely view of downtown Fort Smith and the river beyond.
