Great Place To Stay

I was pleasantly surprised with this place because of the location next to the airport. The airplanes didn’t bother me at all. The staff was very friendly, and one of them even gave me directions to Arlington as well as the best way to the State Fair of Texas. The breakfast had a good variety. It can be frustrating at times to drive around there because it is a one-way street where it is located. Other than that, I recommend it if you’re in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

There are many activities in early October with the State Fair of Texas, football, and other year-round places to see.

It was great!

Although very close to DFW, it was extremely quiet. The young man working the front desk was very helpful. Anytime we have an early flight out of DFW, we WILL stay at this Best Western. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

There was a book in the room listing local restaurants and their addresses. We were able to make a quick selection and get there within a reasonable amount of time.

It’s right next to the airport and essentially on the highway so don’t expect a quiet stay. The TV was old and the bed was average. Overall it was inexpensive, clean and the staff was friendly.

Excellent Hotel

Hotel room was very clean, room was quiet even with planes passing over at all times. I would use this hotel again.

Expected

Thin walls, thin blanket and nothing in the vicinity of the hotel but free wireless worked great, good breakfast selection and really great shuttle service. Good option if you need to stay overnight at DFW.

Comfortable place to stay close to DFW

Clean room, reasonable rate, small self-serve breakfast included (cereal, waffles), friendly staff. Close to the FedEx shipping facility, so it is impossible NOT to hear FedEx jets taking off during the night.

Great For An Overnight Stay

Perfect for that overnight stay with a connection out of Dallas/Ft. Worth. Friendly staff and convenient 24 hour transportation to and from airport.

Very pleased!

Late night layover on trip east. The shuttle was prompt and got me to the hotel quickly. The room was clean and comofrtable. Shuttle service in the morning was on time. Very pleased with the hotel and it’s amenities.

Nice weekend in Fort Worth

Although we had a short stay in Fort Worth, the DFW Best Western allowed us to relax with little effort. The room was clean, the breakfast was plentiful and overall the hotel was convenient for us to stay in while Ft. Worth.

If you eat anywhere in Ft. Worth, make sure you hit up Del Frisco’s....probably the best steaks we ever had!

A comfortable hotel

Mixed service depending on staff. I dropped my suits without noticing it. One staff saw it and call me to check whether it belongs to me. But on another instance, I would like to go to a nearby supermarket. The front desk is not helpful at all.

It is not always easy to find freindly faces when traveling. Best Western Hotels front desk was.

Nice hotel

Great location for the airport. Big room and comfy bed. Only encountered night staff but they were helpful. Make sure you use their free shuttle service to and from terminal as taxi has $23 minimum charge!!

DFW Best Western Very Good

The hotel and staff were very accomodating at a short notice and for a lot of people stranded during hurricane Gustav. Rooms are very spacious and great for families on the go.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

I noticed on the article about the hotel’s placement it was "very close" to the Ranger’s stadium. Upon arriving to the hotel this was NOT true ... their statement needs to be revised to about 25 to 30 minute drive from Arlington Stadium.

Good basic lodging

The Hotel was clean and the staff helpful. For the price, it was a good value.

Convenient, Close to DFW

Room was comfortable, with queen bed, small desk w/ chair, small sofa. Included microwave and mini-refrig. Located between FedEx facility on DFW airport grounds and highway. Rooms were a little noisy. My room faced the airport, and you could hear "some" jets during the night. Room rate included breakfast, which consisted of 4 types of cereal, waffles, milk, coffee, and fruit. If you are looking for a clean, low-frills place to stay close to DFW, this will fit the bill.

friendly and helpful staff

my wife and i needed to take a bus to dallas and the hotel staff found a schedule for us and directed us to the bus stop,only 1 block away.we greatly appreciated their help.

Hey folks! Kindly forget my earlier critical review which was intended for the Ramada Maingate at Orlando. Sorry about that. By contrast, this place at DFW was quite good - clean, comfortable and helpful staff. The pool was wonderful relief from the Texan heat, but it could do with some greenery and shade around it. The free shuttle service to the airport was very prompt and helpful.

Needed to stay near airport as this was an overnight stay for a connecting flight. It was perfect for the price. Quiet and very good shuttle service

Best airport hotel

Great room. Bigger than your normal hotel room.

It was okay

When I got there the hot tub was cold, told the front desk, by the next night it was working. Internet went out, called support, had it running in no time. Overall, it was easy to find, big room, and nice staff.. try to get a room not facing HWY 114, apparently Texans never sleep.

Grapevine Mills Mall and surrounding area is awesome.

Could be better but not bad

We stayed there to attend an ice skating event at the Grapevine Mills Mall. It’s a good place to stay if the hotels next to the mall are full. The only problem we had was that when we got to the room, the previous guest had left chineese food in the mini fridge and housekeeping did not remove it so the room smelled like a chineese restaurant. Also the carpet looked like it did not get vacummed prior to us moving in. A little attention to details and we would not have any complaints. The brakefast is good and it has a nice pool to wind down at the end of the day.

Grapevine Mills is a great outlet mall, great shopping for everyone in the family. Dinner at Cozymel’s was fantastic, great Mexican style food.
