Pleasant Stay
Overall it was a pleasant stay. We would have liked more of a buffet style breakfast with more healthy options. Low fat yougert for example. The staff were all very nice!

Not a good value
The bed was uncomfortable, there were stains on the couch (which looked about 25 years old) and the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. I stayed here thinking this would be a nice place, but was very disappointed. Next time, I’ll stay at the Jameson Inn across the street.

would stay there again
This was a very nice, clean hotel. The full breakfast was actually a FULL breakfast! The pool is on the smaller side and can get crowded on a weekend and has a strong chlorine smell. The hotel is conviently located within shopping and dining. I traveled with my spouse and two small children. We enjoyed the stay.

Just average
I was disappointed. I expected more from a Marriott Courtyard. Desk staff was unfriendly and abrupt. The smell of chorline from the indoor pool was excessive in the lobby and breakfast area. The room itself was fine, the small balcony was nice.

Good place to stay
You will not be dissapointed at this Hotel. Certainly not lavish, but absolutely clean and comfortable with a courteous staff. I travel approximately fourty percent of the year, so I have plenty of experience to compare against.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
There is are plenty of restaurants, shopping and activities within walking distance. You can also find something to do on the campus of JMU or about a half hour away is the Laray Caverns.

Very clean and good deal.
This hotel is well located (right near restaurants and other hotels), and the rooms are attractive and clean. The pool was small, however, and the exercise room was also small, with just three machines in it. The breakfast was great; however the hotel charged us even though our statement from Expedia said that the meal came with the plan. It was inexpensive, however, so we didn’t think it was worth debating. Overall, this is a good place to stay at a reasonable price.

Friendly, courteous staff
No issues at all. Staff very helpful. Provided good recommendations for restaurants and directions. I had omlette for breakfast which was excellent.

If you like poop in your room, this is the place for you.
I just want to say that if it wasnt for the dog poop in the room we reserved, it would of been a pleasant stay.
