Northwest Hospitality at it’s best
The staff at the Pony Soldier is one of the best I have encountered in my travels from the friendly airport pick up service to the cooks in the breakfast kitchen Every one made me feel at home. The high speed internet and non smoking facility is very good. I will return.

Okay for a brief stay
This hotel is primarily a convenient location to the Portland airport and quick access to Interstate 205 to run north into Washington State. Finding decent food close by was not easy. There is a pleasant lobby and pool court yard, cookies and coffee at all hours. Complimentary breakfast was unremarkable. Room was clean and acceptable though the refrigerator was warm, even though it was plugged in. No adjusting knob to cool it down. Hotel staff were not particularly friendly or helpful at check-in or breakfast. It’s an OK place for a quick stay, but not one for a vacation or extended stay.

Plan to search a bit for decent restaurants. The hotel is not located in an area where good food choices are abundant or in walking distance.

Very Nice
Very nice and clean hotel. The room was great! we didn’t get a view room, no big deal but outside my window was a run down trailer park. Overall very nice and a great courtyard area with a pool.
