Pinch hit home run

This is a great place to host a training / small conference. Courtyard Marriott South Bay staff were all extremely helpful in assisting us. Our conference host canceled at the last moment, and the hotel’s staff pinch hit for us on very little notice. I think if I had to do over, I would have chosen this hotel as my first choice for our 3-day training.

enjoyable stay

Marriott is usually a place to stay if you don’t know the other hotels. The main reason for this is the staff, they are very accomadating. This trip we had a late check in because of flight delays etc. Yes, I had mention that when booking, we arrived on a thursday am after traveling all day and night from the east coast. So our choice of room was limited so we settled for the 1st flooe,parking lot view. In our room the sheets were not changed althought the bed was made and there was only one towel. The front desk had the night maintainence man change the bed get us towels(not what you want after a long day of traveling} your hungary and no where to eat. The next day the girl at the desk worked very hard to get us a room facing the court yard rather than the parking lot since we were not on business and planning to stay for 7 days. In moving us the new room had no mirror but they got me one to lean on the wall...You should alway have a full mirror on the outside of a door or on the wall.

difficult to find a place to eat near, and the snack and sandwiches are usually gone. perhaps have a little better selection for late comers or people who would like something after breakfast.

Service trumps maintenance

The check process was fast friendly and easy. The room was spacious and well kept. The personal refrigerator in the room malfunctioned and spoiled my dinner. The front desk manager allowed me to replace my meal from the hotels market and gave me a free breakfast coupon. She scheduled service on the refrigerator for the very next day. In the morning at check out they apologized again for the inconvenience.

Clean, comfortable, convenient, contemporary

Nice hotel. Had all the necessary amenities including pool, fitness, computer, market for late night snacks, in-room refrigerator. Buffet breakfast was good quality and good value. Room decor was updated and pleasant. Japanese theme was nice change of pace from usual boring hotel decor. Dressing area was a little "tight" as we had three ladies in one room.

Comfort unlike any other hotel. Quiet, well laid-out room.

Clean room, bed and a shower

This hotel was fine. Staff was adequately friendly and helpful. The downside - it is in an industrial area far away from restaurants and activities. Restaurant is only open for a breakfast buffet (many hotels include this in the rate, but not this one), but they do subscribe to meal delivery service for a $6.95 fee plus cost of food. The only piece of weight lifting equipment in the gym was broken.

The hotel which is good for Japanese

It is very convenient location to a tourist of Japanese. A meal, shopping. But the hotel is a little noisy because it is near I-405.
