Unhappy with the misleading offer

The main reason I booked with this hotel is it offered free wifi on your stay. However, upon registration, they said they charge for internet use. Hotel reeks of a certain smell (like curry?) both in the hotel lobby and on the floor that we stayed. The room is okay. We booked two separate beds in a room; beds are single type - quite small and uncomfy. Toilet needs more time to flush.

Traveler's tip

I recommend the peking duck in the Chinese restaurant of the hotel. The area where the hotel is located is in one of the busiest districts in Bangkok during the weekdays. We spent 45 minutes inside a car to go to another hotel which is 2km away on one weeknight. The train station is a bit far, but you can walk to it. There is a convenience store right in front and at the street corner. There are a lot of massage parlors along the street, and some restaurants which open around 10.30-11am.

Close to Shopping

As a layover hotel, it worked well for us. It is close to shopping, right on the sky train, across the street from a nice park, and around the corner from Starbuck’s. It was a good value for the dollar for us and served our needs well. We had most of the day to shop before heading to the airport late afternoon. The location put us nicely between the airport and shopping for an easy taxi ride back to the airport.
