Hollywoods Best
Perfect location, great hotel. Very loungy and cool. Food was great, but a little expensive. Will stay there every time we travel to LA.

Roosevelt is the Roosevelt!
The historic and architectural splendor is what brought us here. The lobby and public areas are great, as well, the ability to stroll around old Hollywood. Walking distance to Musso aand Franks, Graumans and theatre was key. The pool of course is its own scene and was certainly amusing, and there may even be swimming! All in all, a positive experience!

Enjoyable, but a little run down
This hotel was worth the money if you compare the prices in the area. The staff was friendly. I was there when it was a busy night, but the staff was still courteous. I dont think my phone in my room worked well - I tried calling the front desk and it got disconnected a couple times. I didnt get my wake up call that I had finally gone to the front desk to schedule. Along with that, after I left they charged me for something from the "mini bar" (a just a liquor stash on the table) that I did not have. And now I am getting the run around from the staff about that. I was not able to take advantage of the pool because sunny CA was pouring. The area is full of famous places and there is a lot of history with the hotel as well. The steakhouse and 24 degrees both had excellent food.
