Great stay at Marriot Waterbury
We recently stayed over a long weekend. Location: easy to locate, right off RT 84. Great for overnight stay in travel Front desk: Friendly, found local apple orchards that had weekend family activities for us. Pool: clean but cool Rooms: good size for family of 5, clean. Bring a crib because there are only 3 at the hotel. Restaurant: hot buffet breakfast Staff are friendly and always willing to help
Look for deals that include breakfast. Easy, convenient and hot breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Bring your own pack and play

Remember to take $15 with you to the breakfast buffet in the lobby. Excellent quality and courteous wait staff, but if you’re used to bargain hotels like Hampton Inns, you’ll be surprised when they drop the bill next to your muffin.

Bar closed earlier than it was supposed to close. That was the only negative.

Good Hotel for the Location
Courtyard Marriot was pretty good. Had Flat-Screen TVs. Pay per view was a little pricey but they had a lot of options. Restaurant had acceptable food but not a wide variety, and isn’t available at lunchtime. No vending machines (except for ice), and the "Marketplace" was horribly overpriced, compared to other hotels. I didn’t try the pool or anything like that. Free LAN-based Internet was useful for my laptop--very comfortable rooms overall.

Very Nice Hotel
My wife and I were very impressed with the "newness" and fresh-smell to this hotel. It has been newly-renovated and is in fine shape, with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The wait staff at the hotel restaurant was prompt, efficient and courteous and the menu choices were excellent - for both dinner and breadkfast. We would definitely stay here again!

We were going to Lake Compounce the next morning and this was a convenient location for us.

My stay was pleasant. I was initially put in one room that smelled like a smoker but I was reassigned politely and without a problem. I especially appreciated the sparkling cleaningness. I didn’t eat there but it look fine. Desk and housekeeping staff very polite.
