Convenient and comfortable
Our son attends the Virginia Military Institute and we have frequently stayed at this Days Inn when the motels in Lexington proper are all full. It is a really good alternative for us. Cons would be a rather uninspired Continental breakfast assortment and the "No Pets" policy.
Raphine is about 13 miles from Lexington where there are many interesting things to see. VMI has a great history and the Marshall Museum is well worth a visit. The town itself is like a glimpse of life in the past. In the fall, the foliage is gorgeous. Lovely area.

Fine for a quick night’s stop. Nothing fancy; breakfast OK.
Hotel was satisfactory for a quick stop. Out in wilderness. 15 miles from anything. Staff did not appear to be that well trained. But, overall for the price, this was an acceptable deal.
