Beware of the food and Internet access!
My stay was quiet. I had no bathtub. The shower was adequate. As usual, no electrical outlet in the bathroom, just in the main room. Stay away from the dining room. The BUFFET was $40US - had I known that I would have at least eaten some meat! Ordering from the menu was slightly cheaper. Internet access is $40US/DAY. To make a phone call, even local, was $4US PER call PLUS per minute fee of about $1US. Use a phone card at the lobby phone. There are no elevators. The hotel is pieced together strangely. To get to my room I had to walk up 1/2 flight, down 1/2 flight, & down a full flight of stairs-with my luggage. Find a nearby side entrance that is closer to your room & avoid going in through the front lobby if needed. Check your itemized list when you leave. Their lobby phone had issues the last three days I was there; I was forced to use the room phone. I was told they would not charge me any fees if I used my phone card from my room. When I checked-out they handed me a bill adding on $24US/DAY for breakfast (which I never had) plus the $4US PER phone call I made. I explained to them very nicely that I never charged food to my room & that I was promised no phone charges would be made. They removed all charges immediately without question (Ill give them credit for that). However, I did not appreciate the breakfast fees being charged automatically to my room (I stayed for nearly a week, so that was quiet a bill!).
Traveler's tip
If you are desperate to eat but dont want to take a taxi, you can grab something at the McDs next door. It is too far to walk to the rail (no bus). Get a taxi. If you want to walk into town, wear comfortable shoes as its not very close! Get a phone card. Skip the Internet connection unless its being paid for by your company! Call your family instead. My $10 US phone card lasted my entire 9-day trip (calling the US only). I would have my husband call my room (no charges for incoming calls).
