The are working very hard to restore this hotel & doing a great job of it. Staff was great.
The have three clean pools, they were working on the patio while we were there, we could still use the pools. The only problems I had was that the security lock was broken on our door, which I didn’t feel like we really needed any way and they could have vaccumed the room better after doing a repair on the wall behind the TV. It was just myself and my two young girls we were very happy there. We would stay again.
Good place for families. Was about 10 miles from the beach -- close to Cosco and Sam’s ware houses & restaurants. A little tricky to find the motel -- but worth it.

Was good but service could have been better.
First night at hotel we were given a room that had no air conditioning and it was in June so the heat was unbearable. They gave us a new room the next day, however they wouldnt compensate us for the night that we spent in that miserable room, not only did the a/c not work but the room was also dirty, there were used rubber gloves on the floor and the tub was dirty. The 2nd room however, was nice. It was clean and what we expected.

Roach Motel
Coming from the South, I know that cockroaches can pop up anywhere if there isn’t regular pest control, so the big cockroach on the shower curtain that I had to kill was somewhat off putting. However, what really made me sick was the fact he stayed on the carpet in the same spot for two days, which is an indication of how poorly lit the room was that housekeeping didn’t see it and how poorly the housekeeping is actually done. Am guessing they don’t vacuum the rooms too often. When I got home I dumped everything in my suitcase on the basement floor, for fear that I might have brought something home with me.
