Perfect for laying on the beach all day
I read reviews before we went, and I was a little nervous. However, Breezes Curacao was absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. The beach is amazing! We never had trouble finding lounge chairs. The reason I travel to the Carribean is to relax on the beach with a good book, so I could not have asked for a better location. The beach is private, with a far end allowing topless sunbathing. The bar service was quick. The food was great and varied. We ate at all 3 a la carte restaurants, but the buffet was amazing and I could have ate there every day. Sure, the room could have been better, with softer sheets and mattress, working tv remote and coffee maker, but we were only there to sleep when we were not hanging out on the beach or sitting by the pool listening to the nightly music. The resort had so many activites offered; you could be as busy/entertained as you want.
We splurged on the trip to Klein Curacao. This is an all day adventure to a remote island. You take a boat ride out, get served lunch, and are able to explore the small island. It certainly was beautiful but I do not know if it was worth the price. We took a motorized boat versus a sailbout that other compaies offered. Most of the people got seasick on the ride out. And, the snorkeling off the beach at the hotel far exceeded the snorkeling at the deserted island. I was a little disappointed.

Not friendly as all!
Very few of the staff ever smiled. They were not friendly nor approachable. One guy even rolled his eyes at me when I didnt immediately give my room # after getting some beach towels. The food was so-so. Had to wait in long lines for drinks. Had to change our "ocean front" room since there was no ocean to be seen from the 1st floor, only chairs, umbrellas, and a restaurant. We had to stay there for two nights and was moved to the Tower which is much newer and nicer than any of the other buildings.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Snorkelling is good at their protected beach.
