Love Florida
Beautiful location right on the beach. Breakfast was good, but ate lunches and dinners out. Room had refrigerator and microwave which was convenient. Only issue I had is the hotel didnt have TBS during the baseball playoffs and I am a Phillies fan!

Great Mini Vacation
We picked the Lido because our nephew was being married in Sarasota and it was a great local choice. It was our first time in Sarasota. The hotel is casual beach style, Tiki Bar by the pool and all that, but a really nice restaurant with a first class chef on the 9th floor who was a chef for the Disney cruise lines. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the staff was great. The ground floor layout had lots of small "semi-private" areas of lounge chairs and tables where you could sit down and talk and drink. Dress is casual. Lido is close to St. Armands Circle on Lido Beach, a an absolute "must" for shopping, restaurants, and people-watching. We will go back again for sure.
Lido Beach is the perfect "unwind and chill" getaway spot. Friendly service, good food and drinks, beach at your door. Walk or bike to St. Armands Circle.

Great Location
Stayed in the older wing of the hotel whose design is dated although recently renovated. New wing of hotel seems much nicer. Convenient to St. Armands Circle and on beautiful Lido Beach.
