Buffet breakfast 9/10 - try it!
From the apple infused iced water on arrival to the fresh fruit yoghurts on the breakfast buffet, The Westin impressed us with its commitment to quality f&b. The breakfast buffet included very good coffee, a fabulous range of Asian and Western treats and Frensh bubbly. The breakfast grill station offered mini steaks along with the usual array of (turkey) bacon, sausages, eggs cooked how you like etc... The landscaping and architecture are all about creating a sense of space and enjoying the view. They do this very well. This is an older style, tastefully refurbished property that I would highly recommend. Quite a romantic place to relax and wind down.

Good but room cleaning needed a lot more work!
The room itself wasn’t what you would rate for a 4-5star hotel especially being modern and clean but the general service and food facilities was very good. Staying in the resot with a young child needed more boutique shops which it severely lacked. But understandable in general as there were shops approximately 1-2km away.

gorgeous
it was a beautiful hotel .nice staff very friendly. good service very attentif to any of our request.we enjoyed spa and swimming in the pool however the beach nerby was not attractiv.the restaurant was clean and the service of waiters perfct.the room was well equiped and very comfortable.

Absolutely Beautiful
Fabulous Resort, what a wonderful experience. The people were so kind and loving. The grounds were prestine, rooms just right w/a luxurious feeling. It is set on such a large space that it’s dumbfounding. I would absolutely recommend this resort!

Not Impressed
The hotel’s beach is full of rocks and very shallow. So no swimming. It’s in a good location near town and very close to the port if you are arriving by ship from Penang.

There’s a very good popular restaurant in town called Wonderland. Excellent food.

Fabulous facility
A truly great place to stay; the swimming pools are very nice, the spa was fantastic, the restaurants were good, the room was in top notch condition, and there was no pressure to take the hotel car service back to the airport, they were happy to call a taxi for me.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
If you take the island hopping tour, it is better to go in the morning at high tide so the boat can get you to more islands.

First class resort, looking forward to returning
Excelent resort, facilities and service first class. Beach villa well worth the additional money. Would certainly go back.

If you are looking for a bargain holiday this isn’t the place for you, but if you want to spoil yourself and have a stay to remember splash out on one of the beach villa’s they’re fabulous.
