Would not go back
The neighbourbood is really crummy, and it smells bad inside and out. The halls in the hotel smelled of bug spray and the room smelled of something worse. The parking was very limited and the breakfast was nothing special. Ordered room service and they brought the wrong thing after 45 minutes (ice tea instead of tea - in Winter, at 11pm). So glad I was only there for one night. Also the road outside the hotel has no traffic light and is on a blind rise. Nearly had a problem, luckily the other vehicle was not going too fast.

Excellent Hotel at a Reasonable Price
This is an excellent hotel at a reasonable price. The service was very good, the staff served well with a smile and a positive attitude. The rooms were comfortable, the bed slept well, roomy, and clean. A full complimentary breakfast was delightful. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tacoma, WA.

great location in Tacoma
I chose the hotel because of its average cost ~ but i had not been to Tacoma before. The experience exceeded my expectations for the price. The rooms were clean, the beds and pillows were new and very comfortable. The hotel was located so that you could get off the freeway and see it. You could just follow the Tacoma Dome signs on the freeway! The free breakfast was better than other hotels i have stayed in. Eggs, waffles, sausages...not just muffins. The staff were very friendly. The downside to the location is that it is not an area to walk around after dark or sightsee. It is not dangerous ~ but industrial and uneventful.
