great choice
This hotel is in a wonderfully central location. We visited attractions and walked all over Oslo from here! It is also a great value: nothing fancy, but everything you need for a very good rate. The Bondeheimen includes breakfast in the ground floor cafeteria-style Norwegian restaurant. It also offers internet in the lobby and a friendly and helpful front desk staff.

Best breakfast
Breakfast is included with your stay. The breakfast buffet was not your traditional American style buffet, thought they did have scrambled eggs and thick cut bacon. They also had a great selection of muesli, dried fruit, nuts, fresh Greek style yogurt, meats, cheeses, breads, juices, and every kind of milk you can imagine (and some you can’t). It was a great way to start the day.

Wouldn’t stay again.
The shower had just a shower curtain with no enclosure at all, so that the bathroom flooded when we took our showers!!! We asked for an adaptor for our electric appliances, including the laptop and they had none to offer or sell, so that we couldn’t charge our cell phones or use the laptop for more than a couple of hours during the first night.
