Very noce hotel
Good location and great staff. A bit old, but close to everything.

Get free WiFi at the Visitors Center at the Neptune Square. Nice flea market close to the hotel, a must on your visit.

Mercure Bologna--You can do better.
The hotel is right across from the central train station, so that’s good, but the beds are very hard and the internet is VERY expensive. Don’t waste your money on the breakfast; you can get something better for less than half the price. The staff are nice enough, though there is one guy who can’t do even the simplest of multi-tasking. It would require such a minimal amount of effort to make the rooms more pleasing--a colorful throw pillow and bed scarf, a picture or two on the wall--anything would make it more presentable. Schedule a massage after staying here as the beds will cause injury. The walls are also very thin, so it is good that they have the double entry doors to help keep out the noise.

Great Location
A very nice hotel directly across from the train station. Great service, very nice room, helpful staff. Got a great rate on a single room through Expedia, but had to pay for breakfast when most of the other guests had breakfast included in their rate. Would definately stay there again.
