A pet friendly stay at the Best Western in Cherokee, NC
During our trip through North Carolina and Tennasee we, my wife, my dog and myself stayed in 5 diferent Hotels. Unfortunatly the least equiped and noisiest room was at the Best Western Great Smokies Inn in Cherokee, NC. By least equiped I mean there was no refridorator or ice box in the room, there was also no microwave or coffee maker. The air, heat unit was very noisy, when the AC unit turned on and off there was a loud noise and unfortunatly it turned on and off about every 5 to 7 minutes all night long. The AC unit looked like an animal had chewed the directional adjustments off and then the hotel removed the entire cover for the unit. Our stays in 4 other hotels, all were rated lower than this one, was much better equiped, much quieter, more enjoyable and restfull.

poor maid service
we stayed at the best western great smokies inn in cherokee north carolina. do not stay here if you want a clean room. the hotel did not give us maid service, or they were so LAZY[the maids] that they just were not going to clean it. no beds where made or the trash picked up, and NO CLEAN TOWELS WERE BROUGHT . we had to call that night when we came back to the room.I could expect this from motel6, or super8, but NOT BEST WESTERN1.
