Great Place To Stay In Downtown Prescott
The Hassayampa Inn is easily the oldest hotel I have ever personally stayed in, but it was so well maintained that I sometimes forgot it was over 80 years old! I recently stayed there for one night during a trip to Whiskey Row for a friends birthday. Being located in downtown Prescott saves you from having to drive or cab anywhere. The rooms were small, but quaint. The queen size bed that was in my room was surprisingly comfortable compared to the standard springy hotel bed. The TV wasnt luxurious, but the reception and picture quality was above average. The Peacock restaurant in the lobby served an excellent breakfast that had prices on par with any other establishment. I only mark down the comfort due to the fact that the bathrooms are TINY. Im a big guy and had a very hard time maneuvering to the shower, or using the toilet. Quality of the hotel service would have been a 5, but when I asked for an extra pillow and blanket, they only had the pillow? Despite being well kept up, I have to give a 4 due to the fact I got tired of hearing the floor creak with every step I took. All in all, I would recommend the Hassayampa Inn to anyone planning to visit and stay in the downtown Prescott area.
Traveler's tip
Make sure to book your room as soon as possible. Due to the popularity of the square around the courthouse and Whiskey Row, rooms fill up a month in advance.
