Good hotel but maybe eat elsewhere
I’ve had a couple of bad experiences with BW hotels BUT they were in the UK so I thought I’d give it a try. Excellent hotel but the restaurant let it down a little. It was expenisve and very slow and the food was not that great. Stay here but eat elsewhere.
Some people told me that this wasn’t a good area but I had no problems whatsoever. If you go in the summer,check out the local baseball team. The best seats in the part are 15 bucks!

Convenient and comfortable in Dowtown Winnipeg
I was pleasantly surprised at the Best Western Charterhouse. Travelers coming from the US and other points south will appreciate how easy it is to get to and from the hotel in a city known for its confusing downtown traffic. The room was clean and comfortable. One of the amenities that I especially appreciated was the in-room computer with Internet access. For those who don’t travel with a laptop, this proved a valuable resource for finding restaurants and directions in an unfamiliar city. I will definitely stay here again when I travel to Winnipeg!
