WOW! What a surprise!
WOW! My wife and I ended up having some time off together on pretty short notice, so we went looking for a place to spend the weekend. We normal go coastal to places like Malibu, Del Mar, Santa Barbara, etc., but weren’t able to get decent reservations anywhere. My wife came across Borrego Ranch on-line and it looked pretty nice and it was something different, so we gave it a shot. Let me tell you, it looks even better in person and the rooms and staff are excellent! Their workout facility is better than the gym that I go to and all their other amenities are great. We will definitely be going back.
Traveler's tip on dining
The only negative, if you can even really call it that, is that their food is a little pricey. There isn’t really anything else around, so you are pretty much locked into eating there, BUT, the food there is EXCELLENT! So you do get what you pay for and I had no problem with it at the end of the day.

My stay :)
Our stay was wonderful, it was an amazing stay! we’re going again. It’s not annoyingly packed like most hotels, this is a great secret getaway! The resort feels like it’s all yours! The only down side is: it’s in a tiny town, so no shopping for those of you who like to. And room service is done at 9 or 10pm depending on the day! But overall this gets all thumbs up!!

WOW, What a Wonderful Hotel!
The Borrego Ranch Resort and Spa is wonderful. We stayed there off season and the rates were more reasonable than BIG CHAINS who offer no extras and no panache. The staff was superb and more than helpful. The decor, both interior and exterior was impeccable. Wherever one turned, the attention to detail was TOP SHELF! I would return in a heart beat. Thank you for an excellent desert resort experience.
