smells like a perm
We were there for a wedding and were in 3 other couples rooms all smelled like a perm. The furniture is from the 70s and needs a major update. Our room had water coming out of the light in the bathrooom and the fire sprinkler, and reported 3 times, but never fixed. Any time you took shower in tub by time you were done you were standing in water above your ankles, this as well was reported multiple times and not fixed. We turned in a hotel report to the manager, but to this date have not heard a word and will be 2 months since stayed there on Oct. 1.

If Youre a Monopoly, You Dont Have to Work Very Hard
When this hotel first opened it was a first-class establishment. However after 21 years its starting to show its age and its inability to handle large crowds. We checked in during a bluegrass festival going on in the lobby and convention areas. The parking lot was overtaken by buses and trucks which took up several parking spots each. The overflow lot across the street should have been where the hotel insisted these vehicles be parked after they had unloaded passengers and cargo. Instead, the staff told hotel guests to use it. Elevators were slow, and two is simply not enough for the number of rooms this hotel has. The rooms are dated, dark and in need of new furniture and decor. The shower from an upstairs room was leaking inside one of our rooms walls. The hotel did not enforce its supposed 10 p.m. noise restrictions in the atrium. Unfortunately, this hotel remains the only "convention class" hotel in Jeff City, so many people really dont have a choice but to stay here. Hopefully as Jeff City grows, some viable competition will emerge.

Solid good hotel
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. They have a nice restaurant and helpful hotel desk. They are well located in the center of town.
