Would probably not stay here again
We booked this hotel for one night. Thank goodness it was for only one night. The room was not very clean and there was no air conditioning which was not good in June. Also, the shower head was positioned so low that we had to slouch to get our hair wet. The noise from the restaurant/bar attached to the hotel was loud. Above the door is a window with slats that you could open (which we would have if the noise wasn’t so bad) and the light from the street lights was very bright in the room. We didn’t spend a lot of money on the room, however I expected more from a chain like Day’s Inn.
Traveler's tip on dining
There was a very good restaurant downtown. I cannot remember the name but it was adjacent to the welcome center. Very good ribs!!
