Comfy Beds, Slow Reception
It was perfectly satisfactory. The room was clean and the beds were incredibly comfy, (I like soft beds.) We booked a room with two doubles, and it came with a mini-bar, minimal TV, basic amenities. The concierge was very helpful but checking in was painfully slow. It has a pool but it’s so popular (family hotel) that you have to book an hour slot for the pool in advance. (We didn’t bother to go.) It also has a big playground for the kids. This hotel is walking distance (as in 200 meters or less) to a bus stop that can take you to the train station, which can get you to the Tube. If I did it again, however, I might look for a hotel with less hassle to get into the city.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
We each got transportation day passes at the train station (for 12 pounds each?) which covers buses, trains, Tube. It was extremely worth it. At the hotel they encouraged us to take a taxi to the train station, but the bus was close and just 2 pounds each (and not a long ride). It was totally worth it to skip the cab.

Would use this hotel again
Everything was in working order, clean and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. We got in very early in the morning and asked if we could leave our luggage for the day before checking in and they informed us they already had a room ready for us! The hoppa bus does go to this hotel, so don’t get ripped off by taking a taxi from th airport!
