Beautiful rooms in Boston
The room was beautiful, with a peaceful ambience, nice bathroom with an extra large tub. The service was very courteous, professional, yet understated. My room overlooked Boston Commons, a nice view, and the location is walking distance to the Prudential Center, the financial district, Chinatown, and of course the theaters; parking in Boston is exorbitant, so I recommend not having a car. The only complaint I had was the room temperature was too warm for an unusually warm fall day--apparently there is either heat or airconditioning depending on the season, not the kind of temperature control one gets in new buildings.
FIgure out ahead of time where to park, or dont bring a car.

A great hotel for a few days in Boston
We recently spent 2 nights in the Taj Boston and found it to be a delightful old hotel. We knew from its history the bathroom would be small, but the room was large and had been remodeled and kept up to the Ritz standards as this hotel was the old Ritz in Boston. Service was excellent and the staff helpful on all matters. We would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to the historic spots and enjoy a few days and nights in historic Boston.

Taj Boston Supreme!
The Taj is owned by the same family from India for over 100 years. It is one of the best hotels I ever experienced. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurants are divine and the location was perfect, with lovely with views of the park and Newbury Street. It is also within walking distance of the Convention Center, world class shops and many different types of restaurants. The subway stop at Arlington is a short walk and connects you easily with the rest of the city. Cant wait to return and stay there again!!
