Historic Charm
We were greeted upon check-in by the resident manager, who requested up front that we let him know of any problems during our stay. The main inn is a gorgeous old historic hotel within easy walking distance of charming shops, galleries and excellent restaurants. Because we had a small dog with us (they are not allowed in the main hotel), we stayed in the annex, which is clean and comfortable, but not quite so luxurious. There is also off-street parking.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
A "must see" is the UVM Morgan Horse Farm, 5 minutes away in Weybridge. Also of note are Frog Hollow (the Vermont State Craft Center) and Danforth Pewter.
